A traverse is a path that cuts across the face of a mountain or a mountain range. The goal of a traverse is to reach the summit safely and efficiently - however sometimes the trail may go downhill for a short period of time before ascending again.

Mariana and Kaya are two Wyoming girls and they constantly find inspiration from the beautiful landscape that surrounds them. Their goal with Traverse Training is to reach women all over with a message of encouragement and empowerment.

We love the analogy of a traverse, because just like climbing a mountain, training during this time period can feel like a meandering journey at times. However, just because you have ups and downs, does not mean you can’t set your goal firmly on the summit. We are here to support you through this time with programming and supplemental healing information to help you reach your athletic goals -whatever they may be!

Traverse Training Programs:

Training wile Expecting

Our program will help you continue your fitness and strength goals during your first, second and third trimesters. This program will give you scaling ideas, alternative exercises and inspiration to keep you moving throughout each stage of pregnancy.

Post Partum Training

We offer a three-part program to help you rehab from birth and return to exercise and strength training safely.

  • 6-9 Weeks after baby. This program is designed to activate your core and pelvic floor and to build overall confidence in your healing body.

  • 9-12 Weeks after baby. This program is designed to bridge off of the previous program and for you to set new goals. You will start to build a strength foundation so you can start progressing towards your athletic goals.

  • 13 Weeks and on. You can select between different programs directly tailored for you and your aspirations. Powerlifting, weightlifting, HIIT, or running programs written just for you! We will always keep in mind your specific needs and recovery.

Support and Constant Communication

Traverse Training will never leave you hanging. We are different than the generic training program because we want to stay in constant contact with you. We want to hear about your triumphs and also about your struggles. We will be with you every step of the way.
